I want to encourage people that you can read. You may not like it at first but I’ve got a few tips:

1. Get into a series that you like

Yeah, find a book and if you like it and find it enjoyable, see if it has a second book. But if it is just a single book, don’t stress! Look up the author’s name and see if they have any other books that may interest you.

So when you find a book you like, use these tips and you should be right!
